Torq Raises $140M in AI Security Push

Torq raises substantial capital to expand AI-powered cybersecurity activities in enterprise and government industry sectors.

Torq is a rapidly expanding cybersecurity company that has been working in the autonomous security operations field and has recently raised funds amounting to 140 million in a Series D investment round that values the company at 1.2 billion dollars. The most recent funding round brings Torq's total funding to $332 million and highlights the increasing investment in AI-driven cybersecurity platforms.

Various financing sources, including Merlin Ventures and other current investors such as Insight Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greenfield Partners, Evolution Equity Partners, Notable Capital and J.P. Morgan Private Bank, also participated in it. Merlin Ventures focuses on federal markets in the U.S., which is one of the major expansion locations of advanced cybersecurity solutions.

Torq was founded in 2020, and it builds an AI-based application that allows security operations centers to orchestrate millions of cybersecurity tasks by using intelligent agents. The company noted an almost 300 percent increase in revenues in 2025 as a result of large enterprise adoption of large-scale cybersecurity automation in a more complex threat environment.

Torq has over 350 employees across the world, with offices in New York and Tel Aviv, and aims to employ another 200 in 2026. The new capital will speed up the activity on the global scale and the penetration of Torq in the U.S. federal and public spheres, where the demand for cybersecurity is influenced by a rigorous regulatory and compliance framework.

According to the executives of the company, the funding prepares Torq to familiarize itself with how an organization should tackle cybersecurity in the era of AI, especially in defending against critical infrastructure and in securing large-scale enterprise settings.
