ServiceNow continues to build its AI-based EAM features through strategic acquisitions to drive assets and enhance enterprise operations and levels of security.
ServiceNow is increasing its agentic AI capabilities, which execute a sequence of high-profile acquisitions to cover its EAM and enterprise operations portfolio. Recently, the company has acquired Moveworks, an autonomous AI search and IT support platform worth $2.85 billion and has now shut it down, as it was closely intertwined with the Now ecosystem.
In December, ServiceNow also acquired Veza, an AI-only identity management company. It is anticipated that the deal will improve EAM abilities by providing the ability to govern better human and AI access to key enterprise data, applications and systems.
Simultaneously, ServiceNow is also said to be in the late stages of its negotiations with Armis, one of the Israeli AI security companies, in a transaction estimated at 7 billion dollars. The Centrix platform gives Armis clear visibility and control over connected hardware and software resources, which significantly helps with EAM and IT asset management tasks.
Analysts indicate that these acquisitions are in line with the plan by ServiceNow to create a platform of platforms that would be able to handle both AI agents and human users in enterprise settings. These additions enhance observability, security, and workflow automation, which are the pillars of current EAM.
In addition to Moveworks, Veza, and Armis, ServiceNow purchased Cuein, Quality360, Logik.ai, and Data.world this year and has emphasized its effort to employ AI-driven modernization. Totally, the transactions place ServiceNow in the position to provide safer, smarter, scalable EAM systems as business operations move more towards autonomous systems.
