Business uncertainties around the globe do not stop public relations firms from developing enduring trusted client partnerships according to IPRN President Rodrigo Viana de Freitas. Agencies now receive increased consultation for digital transformation as well as branding and stakeholder relation tasks because these domains demonstrate strategic value in today's changing market landscape.

The survey reveals significant growth potential in strategic communications by showing it as the number one projected segment according to 25% of respondents. Crisis and change management demonstrate immediate follow-up significance due to the need for flexible response approaches. Technology presents the greatest opportunity for PR development alongside energy and government sectors and health industries and consumer products.

The top investment targets consist of creativity at 16% followed by in-house communication with 15% and talent retention with 15% and multimedia content production at 14%. Economic uncertainty together with hesitant clients making investments exist as principal barriers to success which public relations agencies must overcome while adapting to emerging technologies and inflationary pressures.

Public relations agencies need to adopt digital innovation alongside professional talent development and corporate reputation strategies because ESG communication has become essential for their 2025 market sustainability.
