Waste Management is still the partner of choice for Tamarac's efficient recycling, yard waste, bulk trash collection, and other guidelines on residential waste services in 2025.

Waste Management of Florida remains responsible for the City of Tamarac's residential solid waste service by 2025 with garbage collection, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste included.

Residents can set out yard waste such as tree branches and grass clippings alongside the household garbage in carts, although residents must bag it or cut it to size. For bulky trash, such as mattresses, appliances, and furniture, curbside collection is available weekly for single-family homes only. Yard waste and bulk trash cannot exceed three cubic yards per week, and there are further size and weight restrictions.

Condominiums have quarterly bulk trash collection and residents are required to contact the property management for the correct guidelines for disposal. Construction debris and waste generated from commercial usage are, however, not collected by the city and must be legally disposed of by the property owner or contractor. Tamarac promotes responsible recycling and waste management for a clean city.
