India celebrates 27th National Technology Day, major progress, leadership in science and technology over the last decade.

The Union minister Jitendra Singh on Sunday called India one of the leading nations in science and technology and added that this was mostly in the last 10 years of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing the 27 Th National Technology Day, Singh remembered the day was first marked in 1998 to celebrate nuclear Pokhran test success.

Most of the developments in science and technology have happened in the last 10-11 years. The recent deployment of indigenous scientific equipment is a good testimony of this improvement,” says Singh.

He also observed the emerging role of technology in contemporary warfare whereby India’s prowess in science and technology has placed it in a first class country in the global scale.

Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister also paid his tribute to the Indian scientists, engineers, and technicians and admitted the crucial role they played for science, technology. He pointed to 1998 Pokhran nuclear tests as the birth of India’s history and technological power.

The Congress party sent its greetings on the National Technology day congratulating India for such a wonderful journey in the field of science, space, IT, and healthcare. They emphasized that the continual improvements in science and technology go on to empower the citizens and develop the country.

While India as a country rejoices at its technological advancements, the gaze is still set on progress and innovation through sectors as science and technology continue to play a critical role in determining the country’s future.
