Delta Unveils Stylish New Cabin Interiors

Airline to introduce modern design across its fleet, enhancing passenger comfort with premium materials and innovative touches

Delta Air Lines has announced a major interior overhaul of its entire fleet, set to roll out gradually across nearly 1,000 aircraft. The new cabin designs will debut this autumn on a Boeing 757, followed by the first A350 early next year, as part of the airline’s preparation for its centenary celebration in 2025.

The refreshed interiors will feature a range of upgrades aimed at enhancing passenger comfort and style. Delta One seats will be reupholstered with a lighter, “breathable” wool and nylon blend fabric that regulates temperature more effectively, paired with leather headrests. Delta Premium Select and First Class seats will receive memory foam cushions and new covers, offering superior comfort. Meanwhile, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin seats on widebody aircraft will also see memory foam enhancements, while other aircraft will feature updated leather covers with signature stitching and new color schemes.

The airline is also introducing a softer, more modern color palette inspired by natural materials such as wool, combined with accents of Delta’s heritage colors. Signature patterns like the Celestial Sky and Infinite Grid will evoke the excitement of global travel, while Delta’s iconic widget logo will appear at key customer touchpoints and on redesigned seat tags, subtly distinguishing the different cabin classes.

These upgrades reflect Delta’s commitment to redefining the in-flight experience, ensuring passengers enjoy greater comfort and style while flying with one of the world’s leading carriers.
