Agoda has unveiled its eagerly awaited list of top international flight routes for the summer of 2024, and it’s clear that Asia-Pacific is the place to be. According to Agoda’s booking data, the five hottest destinations this year are Bangkok, Thailand; Seoul, South Korea; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Singapore; and Tokyo, Japan. This list is based on flights booked between June and August 2024, compared to the same period last year.

For the second year running, Bangkok holds onto its crown as the number one summer destination on Agoda. This vibrant city continues to captivate travelers with its exciting blend of modernity and tradition. Meanwhile, Seoul has risen to claim the second spot, overtaking Singapore in this year’s rankings. Kuala Lumpur has also made strides, moving from fourth to third place, while Singapore drops to fourth. Tokyo, making its debut in the top five, pushes Ho Chi Minh City out of the list.

The popularity of these destinations underscores a strong preference for dynamic cities in the Asia-Pacific region. Bangkok’s allure lies in its bustling streets and rich cultural tapestry. Seoul dazzles with its fusion of cutting-edge technology and historic palaces. Kuala Lumpur’s appeal is in its striking skyscrapers and vibrant cultural scene.
