Kuwait Oil Company wins the top prize in the category of oil and gas in Asia for its pioneering Production Integration Solution.

Kuwait Oil Company has secured the Data Initiative of the Year, Kuwait, category in the Asian Oil and Gas Awards 2025, and this is given in acknowledgment of their innovative Production Integration Solution, which is the very first fully integrated production optimization system of the company.

The project also addresses emerging complexity in the oil and gas project, including the emergence of new wells and projects, equipment malfunctions, and infrastructure constraints. The platform brings together more than ten old systems in the drilling, production, and reservoir engineering, offering one common data environment to support real-time analytics and make smarter decisions.

The innovation will help the Kuwait Oil Company to monitor all barrels that have been produced or lost, detect areas of weakness in performance and enhance efficiency in operations. It reduces the amount of manpower and the level of cross-departmental cooperation and limits the uptime of the production sites.
