Oracle Secures Swift Certification for Banking Payments at Sibos 2025

Milestone recognition reinforces Oracle’s role in shaping the future of global digital payments.

At the Sibos 2025 conference in Frankfurt, Oracle announced that its Oracle Banking solution has been certified as a Swift Compatible Application, a key milestone that cements its standing in the global payments landscape.

The certification confirms that Oracle’s digital payments platform meets Swift’s rigorous standards for interoperability, security, and regulatory compliance. For banks and financial institutions, this recognition provides confidence that Oracle’s platform is not only future-ready but also capable of seamlessly integrating into Swift’s vast international network.

Built natively on the ISO 20022 framework, the solution supports both new and legacy payment formats. This flexibility allows banks to transition smoothly into upcoming Swift deadlines, such as the full ISO 20022 migration set for November, while continuing to handle older formats.

What sets Oracle apart is its subscription-based, AI-enabled approach to payments processing. With the Swift certification, financial institutions can now benefit from both Oracle’s innovation and Swift’s global reach—ensuring faster, safer, and more reliable transactions across borders.

Sonny Singh, Executive Vice President of Oracle Financial Services, emphasized the company’s commitment: “Continually delivering Swift-validated applications reflects Oracle’s deep dedication to providing secure, standards-based solutions that empower financial institutions to meet the demands of a fast-evolving payments ecosystem.”
