Paul Ford Joins Muinmos as Board Advisor

Financial Services Entrepreneur Paul Ford Brings Strategic Insight and Scaling Expertise to Muinmos to Accelerate AI Compliance Innovation

Muinmos, a RegTech firm specializing in AI-powered compliance solutions recently appointed financial services entrepreneur Paul Ford as an investor and board advisor to support the company’s operations as it enters a new phase of expansion. Ford has a background in building and scaling high-growth businesses, bringing more than 25 years of financial and operational experience to the role. Paul Ford joins Muinmos following the company reporting increasing demand for its orchestrated AI agents comprising domains such as know your customer (KYC), know your business (KYB), client classification, risk assessment, and lifecycle management.

Furthermore, Ford is the founder and former chief executive of Acin, a London-based RegTech and AI operational risk provider. After leading the business for eight years, he sold the business at market-leading annual recurring revenue multiple in 2025 to CUBE, an Hg portfolio company. Acin in its earlier avatar was known as Anchura Partners, an operational risk consultancy also established by Ford in 2010 catering to chief operating officers at major banks. Ford held senior positions at several major financial institutions before embarking on his own businesses, including COO at Barclays Wealth and Credit Suisse and a director-level position at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he supervised the building of an e-trading and post-trade processing platform.

Moreover, Ford’s business acumen is significantly shaped by his military career, having served as a British Army Officer in the Royal Engineers. He subsequently forayed into the financial services industry by working on trading, clearing, and settlement systems for capital markets at Accenture. As a company focusing on providing AI-driven compliance infrastructure for financial institutions, Muinmos focuses on domains such as client onboarding, ongoing due diligence, and regulatory risk management throughout the client lifecycle. Ford’s new role places him in the company of board that includes Lars Holst, Lars Torpe Christoffersen, Ashraf Agha, Michael Paul André, Remonda Kirketerp-Møller, and Anders Kirketerp-Møller.

Comenting on the development, Muinmos founder and CEO Remonda Kirketerp-Møller noted, “Our business is going from strength to strength, and with Ford’s experience and strategic insight, we will accelerate our next phase of growth and set the global standard for AI-driven compliance. At the same time, Ford expressed optimism in steering Muinmos’ growth strategy by providing guidance and support. According to CIO Bulletin, Ford’s appointment as an investor and board director would aid Muinmos’ business expansion goals while redefining the company’s culture.
