Penn State celebrates programs

The Penn State World Campus that provides more than 20 degree programs in science and technology is commemorating 25 years since they started providing online education.

Penn State World Campus is commemorating 25 years since it started providing online education this year. The portfolio now includes a wide range of over 175 degree and certificate programs.

Penn State World Campus provides more than 20 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a range of fields, including information sciences and technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, geospatial science, sustainability, turfgrass management, and more, for students who wish to pursue careers in science and technology.

In order to provide educational opportunities to students worldwide, Penn State World Campus collaborates with other Penn State campuses and universities. The Eberly College of Science, College of Arts and Architecture, College of Information Sciences and Technology, College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, College of Agricultural Sciences, and Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate and Professional Studies are partners with Penn State World Campus for science and technology programs.

Joshua D'Ottavio, currently pursuing his third degree from Penn State, said that since he works remotely, being able to attend school remotely also added a ton of value. What really intrigued him was how convenient World Campus was to be entirely online. He could truly focus on and tailor the programs and lessons he took for his career goals because there were so many options available.
