VisionWave Expands Defense Technology Collaboration with India

VisionWave builds on its partnership with India through defense-focused technologies, with counter-unmanned aerial systems, armored fleet upgrading, and next-generation Tactical Active Protection System.

VisionWave Holdings, Inc., a defense technology company in the United States, has announced that it has made major steps in its involvement with India in the drive to modernize its defense industry. A leader in complex imaging, autonomous systems, and a proprietary platform, Evolved Intelligence (EI) threat detection, the company is looking at long-term partnerships with Indian defense organizations and system integrators.

India, where defense spending will go past 80 billion dollars annually and the modernization plan is estimated to be 250 billion dollars in this decade, is among the largest defense markets in the world. VisionWave believes that its flexible defense technology products, like super-resolution radar, advanced sensor fusion, and real-time autonomous detection, could help improve the safety and movement of armored vehicles in India.

Current negotiations involve integrating the Tactical Active Protection System (T-APS) and modular counter-UAS systems with future armored systems, conducting trial fitment in new battlefield innovations, and refitting legacy systems. The company has already signed a non-disclosure agreement with a domestic Indian defense partner and is in the final stages of signing a memorandum of understanding.

In parallel, VisionWave is participating in live-fire tests in Abu Dhabi and has the potential of carrying out similar tests in India as well. "India is a key strategic market, and this is consistent with our commitment to work with our customers in that country as they look to achieve their innovative defense vision through implementation of our EI-driven defense technology," said Noam Kenig, VisionWaves CEO.

This initiative reinforces VisionWave's strategic plan by focusing on global alliances to provide high-tech defense technologies for modern warfare.
