The Labour Department investigates Infosys employment practices while employees defend their HRTech protocols after the dismissal of trainees and compliance violations.
The Labour Department has started a formal investigation of Infosys' work force regulations according to the company's Human Resources leader Shaji Mathew. The escalation of labor law conformity concerns and workplace treatment issues led to scrutiny against Infosys.
Mathew declared through PTI that Infosys gives complete assistance to the department by providing every requested piece of information throughout their investigation. Mathew affirmed that Infosys upholds the very best standards of compliance together with transparency in all its operations. The company stands firm in its commitment to build an equal and secure workplace environment that benefits every staff member.
The investigation started after employees filed complaints about violations of labor laws in their work environment regarding unsafe conditions and their payment system. The Labour Department reviews concerns about Infosys to verify that the company follows legal standards while maintaining proper HR ethical procedures.
Mathew explained the company procedure by confirming that Infosys provides trainees three evaluation periods to pass assessments before decertification. The company adopted this assessment policy before 2000 according to the director despite accusations of purposefully setting candidates to fail. The company executes "this procedure as an integral part of its HRTech process for validating candidate quality," he explained.
The workforce expansion strategy of Infosys to employ twenty thousand more staff members for FY2025-26 continues on schedule. Protection of stakeholders including total commitment to transparency and HRTech compliance represents a fundamental principle of the company.
