Iran Showcases Breakthroughs at International Nano Technology Exhibition

Iran's 16th International Nano Technology Exhibition features new health and environment and material developments.

The exhibition had taken place at the Tehran International Fairground from November 2 to 5, 2025. The first Exhibition of Advanced Technologies was also held concurrently. More than 150 companies exhibited new nano technology applications in healthcare, environment and industry.

People from Islamic Azad University and leading startups showed numerous new projects. They presented a gas detector that can perform many jobs and nano-bioactive medicines to help with cancer and diabetes, as well as ways to create keratin from chicken feathers using nano technology. They also demonstrated nano-gold for tests on cancer, nano-concrete to reinforce buildings and tiny particles used to clean industrial wastewater.

The show also had graphene used to make tires stronger, lightweight building materials that are reinforced with polymer, as well as aromatherapy products made better with nano technology. These projects demonstrate the fact that Iran is trying to spend more effort on using nano technology for eco-friendly and industrial solutions.

The organizers said the aim was to help universities and companies collaborate with each other and attract global investors and researchers. The advanced technologies part of the show had 80 knowledge-based products and showed Iran's commitment to growth driven by innovation.

The event proved the fact that nano technology has the ability to change regular stuff and make things efficient, greener and smarter in several fields.
