Nexans Appoints Julien Hueber as New CXO

Julien Hueber has become the new CXO of Nexans, replacing Christopher Guerin, enhancing the power of sustainability and international business performance.

Nexans has confirmed that it has a new Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Julien Hueber, who has replaced Christopher Guerin. The change of leadership comes into action immediately, where Guerin will assist Hueber until October 31, 2025.

The Nexans Board of Directors decided to make this move to make a new impulse and to optimize company performance even more. Appointments & Corporate Governance Committee provides a comprehensive succession effort with the help of a renowned executive search agency.

Julien Hueber was the former Executive Managing Director of Power Grid and Connect Euro, and he oversees a 23-plant EUR2.6 billion business. Hueber has been a member of the Nexans Executive Committee since 2018 and has extensive supply chain, procurement, and regional experience in Asia-Pacific. He also headed Nexans's global business, Industrial Cables, Industry Solutions/Projects.

Jean Mouton, the Board Chair, commended Hueber as CXO due to his strategic vision, operations prowess, and expansive knowledge of Nexans' business, saying that he was the right person to guide the company through its next stage of growth.

The Board thanked Christopher Guerin, who served as CXO for seven years, where he revitalized Nexans towards sustainable electrification and operational innovation. The leadership of Guerin helped to downplay company culture and bring confidence to global teams.

As the new CXO, Hueber wants to speed up the strategic implementation without compromising the high legacy of innovation and sustainability built in the tenure of Guerin.

This shift in leadership shows that Nexans takes its business operations seriously and that CXO is a crucial character that can transform a business.
